Logistics

With over 12 million square metres of logistics platforms delivered over the past 30 years, GSE is the logistics market leader and plays an active part in developing our profession.

As part of its sustainable development strategy, GSE is involved in launching major logistics parks in the UK, Germany, Spain and Italy with investment partners such as ProLogis, Gazeley, AMB and Parkridge.

GSE also positions itself as a supplier to major European and international corporations, including WalMart, Carrefour, Auchan, Renault-Nissan, La Poste and Kiabi, as well as key logistics services players such as ND Logistics, Geodis, TNT, Stef Tfe and Exel. GSE delivers turnkey services for the professional rental sector in collaboration with other operators, including Elgan in France and eastern European countries, Argan, la Compagnie Francesca and la Financière Norbert Dentressangle.

Manufacturing

GSE tackles complex projects such as the construction of a research laboratory for the French Oil Institute and a vaccine production unit for Aventis Pasteur. Several recent projects have strengthened GSE’s expertise in this area:

a research centre for Thales and another for the Applied Theoretical Optical Institute (IOTA) at the Polytechnique college site in Palaiseau (France);
a factory in Ukraine for Philip Morris;
a glass block and electrical insulator factory for Vetroarredo in China;
a production unit for Alstom in China.

Office

GSE designs and constructs buildings for use as offices and head offices. As a turnkey contractor, we act as a strategic partner to occupiers, investors and property developers. Projects include the delivery of a new head office in Paris for the French postal service La Poste, registered offices in Avignon for Ducros/McCormick and offices for ST Microelectronics in Grenoble.

Healthcare

Working in close collaboration with the medical professionals who are the final occupiers, the teams from GSE are fully focused on delivering value as part of any property project, whether refitting existing clinics or building complete new healthcare centres.

The GSE approach centres on our ability to listen to users and to analyse their needs before incorporating them into a construction programme that is detailed, optimised and competitive.

Among GSE’s successful projects in this field are the construction of the Polyclinique des Alpes du Sud, and the restoration of the Fourvière hospital in Lyon and the American hospital in Neuilly, close to Paris.

Retail

Building on the September 2007 alliance with GAM Ingénierie, GSE is better placed than ever in the retail premises construction market in France and overseas.

GAM Ingénierie works with France’s major supermarket chains and aids its clients in their international development with the support of the GSE network. GSE is able to extend its turnkey contractor services to clients from the retail sector, backed by GAM Ingénierie’s expertise, track record and reputation.
